Written after reading Psalms 107 and being reminded of my
fathers  suffering and long battle with cancer. Dad was not
afraid of dying because he knew where he was going. Life's
chains of sin and suffering were broken and he was about to
be set free.  Dad was a gifted musician and I dedicate this
song to him for being my biggest musical influence and for
his unfaltering Christian example, Roland Felten went
home to be with the Lord on  10/19/2001. A year after
writing this song I was looking through dads bible and
Psalms 107: 28-30 was underlined
"28. Then they cry out to
the Lord in their trouble. And he brings them out of their
distresses. 29. He calms the storm, So that its waves are
still. 30. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He
guides them to their desired haven."
